The Makers Village
The Makers Village complex of Victorian and Edwardian buildings is a hive of creative enterprise. The studio units are finished to a very high standard and the hub is the Makers Gallery and Bistro attracting locals and the wider arts community for regular exhibitions, events, training and craft sales from the Gallery and Bistro.
We believe art and crafters have different measures and drives and the one thing we do not impose is how you operate and grow your business. The collective of creative industries, the gallery and the bistro bring people to the venue and you therefore have potential customers on your doorstep but it is how YOU want to engage with your potential customers.
Many of the businesses have started small in the Annexe, grown and moved to Marcelle House and eventually moved into the Makers Village.
